Paper Cuttings and Signs of Spring

Thought I'd show you a peak of one of our spring display.
Wonderful paper cuttings, little birds and bird houses  .

 Birdhouses and gazebos

Hand embroidered pillows by Mom.

Every where you look are sweet signs of spring.

Hand painted daisy candles;

A beautiful yellow, vintage tulip table cloth.

Boxes with paper cuttings on the lids.

A beautiful yellow bird house.

And I  just have  to show off my snow babies ( they are really not babies any more).
They spent the night with us last Friday night and woke up to snow on Saturday morning.

Catching a snowflake on her tongue.

Chelsie was making a snow angel here.

And what do you do after you've played in the snow?
I thought hot chocolate.
I was wrong, snow cream.

Hope you've enjoyed a tour of one small corner of the shop.

I have been painting a lot.
Candles, windows, and glassware.
I try to post again tomorrow.

Getting ready, Spring Open House is Saturday March 23!

Hope to see you soon,

Snow on the mountain

We woke up to snow this morning.  This is the view from my front door.
My sweet husband made these photographs for me.  I didn't even have to get out in the snow.

Our house in the snow.

The lane headed down to the United Methodist Assembly.

A wooded area near the overlook.  You can see the valley below through the trees.

Fine feathered friends

Just a little peak at a recent display, including our sweet resin cardinals and our "If wishes were dishes collection."

What do you do with too many Christmas trees?  Turn of the lights and a make a winter wonderland for the birds!

I have several of these wonderful tiered servers and a fantastic selection of cardinals in two sizes.
They would make a sweet Valentine's gift for a bird lover, don't you think?

I have been working on lots of spring displays.  Here's a little preview.

It will be here before you know it!

Hope to see you soon!
