White Wednesday

First of all, my apologies to Kathleen at Faded Charm.
It seems that I had done something wrong and there was no link from my first thumbnail.  I have reposted, so I guess there will be two thumbnails.  I hope I have finally fixed it. ( I'm keeping my fingers crossed.)

My bath is dressed up for Christmas!
I thought you might like to take a peek!!

A tree to enjoy while I take my bath.

A sweet bottle brush wreath with silver ornaments.

The dresser in all its glory.

A  silver wreath and white glittery stars.

A ribboned swan swimming in pearls.

Three candle sticks that my mom found for me and a lovely vintage mirror.

Our clawfoot tub and a tufted chair.
(A girl's got to have a place to put on her socks.)

I hope you have enjoyed my tour of our bath.
I'm linking to Kathleen at http://fadedcharmcottage.blogspot.com/ for White Wednesday

Talk to you soon!

The Days Before December

It's been such a busy week!

I'm sure you are all right there with me.   Cooking, cleaning, shopping, caring for others.
Sometimes it takes a lot out of a girl.  Anytime there are out of the ordinary days I seem to get side tracked.  You know, it's just hard to get refocused on what you need to be doing.

I have most of my house decorated for Christmas.

I have done lots of my shopping (online, I hate those concrete floors in the stores).
And now there just seems to be a kind of lull.

A time of waiting.

A time of expectation.

A kind of uncertainty.

But I am sure of one thing.

Christmas is coming!

Oh, it seems a way off yet,
but it will be here before you know it!!!

But you know what I would really like for Christmas to be?

Christmas, for me, is a time of love, a time of hope, a time for family.

More than anything, I would like to have a sweet, quiet Christmas.

A time of peace and joy and contentment and loving one another.

There are several days ahead in this season of joy.
Here's to hope!
May this be our best Christmas yet!!!

See you soon!!
