Things are blooming in the garden!

My very first long stemmed roses.  I planted them in the late winter.  They were bare roots.  I never thought I could have success with them but the first blooms are gorgeous.

The blooms are about 5 to 6 inches across.

They just opened today.

This one is peach and beautiful.

This rose is also a long stemmed rose.

It is white with the faintest tinge of pink near the outside of the petals.

This rose is a medium pink.  It has not bloomed in years.  I have tried a great new (for me anyway) rose food.   It feeds and protects from insects for six weeks.  This bush has lots of buds and is just waiting to show off.

This rose was my grandmother's rose it is the palest of pink, fades to white, and blooms only once a year.  The bushes are huge and getting ready to explode.

Pink peonies

White peonies.

The garden is just beginning to have it's second blooming spurt after the buttercups and irises.
I just couldn't wait to show you a few blossoms.

See you soon,
Tommye

Come see my roses!!!!!
